AM News: AMD GPU May Power PlayStation 4, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 at MWC, Sony Unveils Xperia U, Xperia P and Xperia S

AMD may end up powering both the future Xbox and Sony's Playstation 4 console, leaving Nvidia out in the cold. Forbes quotes former AMD staff who said that Sony could switch from one GPU designer to the other one. AMD already has its chip in the Xbox 360 while Nvidia powered the original Xbox console.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet has appeared at Mobile World Congress on a wall poster next to the registration hall which reads "it's 10.1", it's Galaxy Note!". The tablet was also listed on the BluetoothSIG website this week. We managed to get a close up picture of the device which shows that the Galaxy Note 10.1 is almost identical to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with an additional S-pen, the same stylus as the Galaxy Note.

Samsung has officially unveiled two new Galaxy Tab 2 tablets, a 7-inch model which was already in the public eye and a new 10.1-inch model. Sony has officially unveiled the Xperia U, Xperia P and Xperia S as part of its Nxt series; the Xperia S has been on preorder in the UK for £21.50 per month on a two year contract on O2 for a couple weeks already. At an event in Barcelona at the Palau San Jordi club, Bert Nortberg, President and CEO of Sony Mobile Communications presented the three smartphones which will replace the likes of the Xperia arc S, the X10 and Vivaz. has now obtained images from its confidential source of the yet to be announced Nokia Asha 302 - which is due to be launched at Mobile World Congress, on Monday, by the Finnish phone maker. This follows on from our other exclusive hands on images, the HTC One S and quad core One X; both due to be officially unveiled on Sunday night, in Barcelona.
