iPads Given $50 Discount Only At Best Buy

The Apple iPad 2 can be bought with an exclusive $50 discount only at Best Buy stores. Several versions of the popular tablet are currently on sale, with the price tag of each device reduced by an impressive $50.

Currently, the 16GB Wi-Fi only version is available for just $449 while the 64GB Wi-Fi+3G version is available for $779.

This sale could indicate that a new iPad is on its way, with the retailer looking to make way for its arrival. A heavy discount on a particular product is the usual practise carried out by retailers in order to clear out the present devices so as to make way for the arrival of the latest products.

According to recent reports Apple is preparing to release its iPad 3 during early March of this year. Some sources also claim that 9th March is the exact launch date for this highly anticipated product, reported CNET.

At present it is only Best Buy who is offering this lucrative discount, with Apple selling the product for its original price. Other major retailers such as Radio Shack, Wal-Mart and Target are also selling iPad 2 at its original fee.
