Lately Apple fans have been teased about the most optimistic rumours that spanned frantically around the Internet. Among them, we got the chance to hope for a new Apple TV device and now here it is.
Eddie Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, the man who reports directly to Tim Cook, proudly introduced the device to the eager media present at the San Francisco event.
"Apple TV comes with a new streamlined user interface," announced Eddie Cue before the demonstration time. The unveiled device delivers 1080p video and comes with iTunes Match support. To make things more interesting, Apple fans will be able to stream photos from their iOS devices to Apple TV instantly.
The rumours we trusted and detailed earlier, proved to be accurate: Apple TV comes with the price tag of $99, the same as its predecessor.
In addition, we realise now why companies that tried to ship products from China had hard time finding room in air cargo, as the devices are already in the US and they will be available for the consumers only a week from now.
