Toshiba has shown off some new laptops in both the Satellite Pro L and C series aimed at business users - offering a wide variety of screen size options.
There's three new ones in the Pro L series: the L830, the L850 and L870, offering 13.3 inch, 15.6 inch and 17.3 inch displays respectively - each capable of handling high definition resolutions.
They all support up to 16GB of DDR3, with hard drive capacities maxing out at 750GB. In terms of operating systems there will be a choice of Windows 7 Professional or home premium, with another configurable option being whether to have a DVD, BLU Ray or rewritable Blu Ray drive. Each will come with both 802.11/b/g/n wireless and a gigabit ethernet adapter as standard.
According to V3, those business users that want a bit more graphical power under the hood can also configure their new L series machine to come with a discrete AMD GPU.
The Satellite Pro C series is only getting one new arrival, known as the C850. It comes with a 15.6 inch 1366 x 768 display, a multi-touch supportive touch pad control and similar hardware and software choices to those in the L series.
Toshiba has also announced new Netbooks featuring Intel's new 1.6GHz Atom 2600 processor. This will be found in both the Mini NB510 and Mini NB520. Each will come with a 10.1 inch display and 1GB of memory, with a maximum HDD capacity of 320GB.
