Insane Apple fan boys (and girls) queue through the night for iPads

Queues for the new iPad are growing in front of Apple stores around the world. Apple's most fanatic devotees are camping in front of the Apple stores in anticipation of the new iPad launch in a few hours.

The third generation iPad with its high-resolution display and LTE capability is expected to hit the shelves tomorrow at 8.00 AM local time in the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland and the UK, along with Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In Australia dozens of the eager customers declared that it is not about getting the device ahead of other people and showing it off. Instead it's about being a true Apple fan and sharing your passion. People huddle together and discuss the latest rumours related to upcoming hardware and Apple iOS versions, while spending the night in folding chairs and tents under the Apple logo.

In Japan, tech enthusiasts are also at their posts in front of Apple stores. The Japanese customers, will truly be among the first customers in the world to get their hands on the new device, as Tokyo is 16 hours ahead of California.

We will be running a live blog for the launch of the new iPad tomorrow covering the latest stock updates and price checks across the country, from more than 30 retailers.
