Hidden under the name Pantech IM-A830S, the new model first appeared as a reference on the GLBenchmark website (opens in new tab).
Tech journalists and bloggers wasted no time in checking out the technical specifications, before the company officially introduces the device in a PR-coated announcement.
The leaked information we have so far, suggests that Pantech IM-A830S will feature a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 processor, with two Krait CPU cores.
Even though we can't guess the size from the details on offer sheet, the smartphone will sport a LCD screen with HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels.
In addition to which, the Pantech IM-A830S will reach the phones' owners with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, already installed.
The first customers who will be able to check out if these rumours will be true are from Asia, according to sources quoted by Ameblo.jp.
South Korea's SK Telecom is the most likely carrier to include the new smartphone, but there are no mor hints about the release date, domestically or worldwide.
