Prestigio To Release A Budget 9.7 inch Screen Based Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet

Just a couple of months from now, Prestigio will push onto the market a generous sized tablet, with a modest price tag.

For 199 Euro, future users will be able to get a Prestigio Multi tablet, shipped with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and powered by a single core 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 chip.

The upcoming tablet has a rather modest set of specifications, including 8GB of built in storage.

Users will be able to store more data on the tablet, thanks to the microSD card slot. The device will also feature 1GB of RAM, which is quite impressive for its low-end category.

In addition to which, the tablet will feature a rubber back that is fingerprint resistant, plus an iPS display.

This tablet was first introduced at this year's edition of CeBIT, which took place last week in Hannover, Germany.

The inquisitive reporters from Notebook Italia managed to find out that the new Prestigio 9.7-inch tablet will be introduced first, to the Italian customers and then eventually it will be ready for an international roll out.

However, there is still no confirmation about other national markets that could receive the device.
