Below is the list of 30 retailers in the UK that currently sell the new iPad in the UK (at least online).
Comet has stock of everything at the time of writing
Phones4U sells 4G models, on pay monthly and SIM Free. It says that the new iPad will be in selected stores across the UK existing and Orange customers will get a better deal when they visit Phones4U high street stores
Carphone Warehouse says that stocks of the new iPad are "extremely limited at launch" and has published a list of stores that stock the new iPad as of midday today. Carphone Warehouse does not sell the Wi-Fi version of the tablet online, only the 4G models on all major networks except O2. Other Carphone Warehouse affiliates (Onestopphoneshop, e2save and Mobiles.co.uk) will be selling the iPad as well as soon as they get Apple's approval, we've been told.
Amazon does not currently sell the "New iPad" although third party marketplace affiliates do.
Tesco sells the cheapest New iPad for £384 and has six SKUs available.
John Lewis has run out of stock on seven out of the 12 SKUs in the market. It is the only company giving away a free one year additional warranty which by itself is worth £69 as well as a free THREE SIM card with 1GB data worth £7.50.
Expansys sells The New iPad for much more than Apple but still expects it to sell well. The online retailer says that stock is either expected within six days or 24 hours.
Selfridges has stocks for four SKUs (black 16GB WiFi, 64GB 4G, 32GB 4G and 16GB 4G).
Both PC World and Currys seem to have ample stock both for Home deliver and Collect @ store on all 12 SKUs of the New iPad and so does Laptopsdirect (with an estimated delivery date well towards the second half of April for the latter).
Argos is out of stock on four SKUs although you might find stock nearer to where you live using the "check stock in your area" feature.
The following online retailers do not have stock of the New iPad at the time or writing, are temporarily out of stock or will order the product on demand on ALL or most of the SKUs: Misco, Play, Scan, and Warehouseexpress
