Apple Resorts To The Community To Answer User Questions

Aside from the official FAQ page, Apple has added a new page for their fans. The "Answers from the Community" section of the Apple on-line store puts the fans' experience to use, as people are now able to give each other answers and detail their experiences with iOS devices.

A similar page was accessible for users, who want to know more about Apple accessories and needed to ask their peers - instead of reading official reviews of products. Now, at the bottom of the product pages, online shoppers can get first-hand information from other iDevice owners.

In checking out the iPad section, we discovered there are already 29 questions, but oddly enough, not many of them relate to the third generation Apple tablet. Other users and readers rate the answers, and the best answer is displayed on top of the thread.

As on any forum, there are some basic rules inviting people to provide short and relevant answers and to stay on topic. Apparently, Apple is heavily moderating the new forum, as some users noticed that it takes almost a day before the answers and the questions are actually displayed.
