Fancy getting an Apple iPhone 4S for less than Apple is selling, with a 25 per cent deposit and two year interest free credit? Then read along to know how you can grab the hottest smartphone in town for as little as £482 compared to £499 for the SIM free model.
We have received official confirmation from O2 that users are able to drop the expensive data bolt option from their contract within the first few days and in theory, you will be able to do just that with the iPhone 4S.
That's the theory though and we haven't tried it yet (but there's no reason why it shouldn't work). Online mobile retailer Buymobilephones.net sells the iPhone for £21.50 per month on a two year contract with an upfront fee of £110 (O2 100 Internet All Rounder).
Drop the 500MB data allowance from the start (make sure you don't use the data allowance at all) and the monthly fee drops to £15.50 per month. You still get priority moments, 50 photo messages, 100 minutes and 500 texts, all for £482.
You cannot get that deal from O2 direct where the cheapest contract on O2 for the iPhone 4S will cost you £672 instead. Bear in mind that the smartphone is locked to O2 (and could in theory be used on Tesco Mobile and Giff Gaff).
