Those with Nokia Lumia Windows Phone handsets can now make use of new Nokia Transport, Drive and Maps to enhance, and hopefully improve, their travelling experience.
Nokia Drive aims to help you drive safely by displaying speed limits and relevant information clearly, on the screen. It has the ability to have customised audio and triggers for separate warnings. It also boasts an offline mode, where maps can be saved for future use, so the problems of bad coverage and mobile data tariffs are no longer an issue.
Nokia has improved their Maps favourites function to keep your regular addresses to hand, and with the ability to share addresses via social media. With Maps you can view the traffic situation in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Belgium, Russia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, UK, France, Spain, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, India and UAE.
Nokia Transport is also now available in more than 510 cities, across 46 countries. The app presents an overview of your route using public transport. It also provides walking directions for the journey, where favourites can also be set in any of these countries.
Nokia Drive, Maps and Transport can be found in the Windows Phone Marketplace
