Spotify releases an Orchestra of new Apps.

Today Spotify, the award-winning digital music service, has released a total of 13 new apps for their desktop client. The apps boast contributions from record labels and distributors including Universal, Sony, Warner, EMI, Def Jam, Domino, Matador, PIAS and X5.

'Classify' gives easy access to Spotify's catalogue of Classical music. 'The Complete Collection' and 'The Legacy Of' enrich your musical experience by providing comprehensive notes on the song's history, contributors and lyrics.

The apps 'Def Jam', 'Domino', 'Matador', '[PIAs]', and 'the warner sound' provide straightforward access to the artists signed to their respective labels. Playlist apps 'Digster' and 'Flitr' create playlists based on your history and Facebook likes. "TweetVine' creates a chart from the #NowPlaying hashtag.

Spotify has also released two games apps. 'Hot or Not' invites you to cast your vote on the popularity of song in order to score points and win badges. The colourful app 'NOW That's What I Call Music!' lets you spin the wheel to randomly generate a playlist based on the 'NOW' albums from today and the past.

Spotify offers on-demand access to over 16 million tracks and is available in 13 countries: USA, UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands and Spain.
