A Serious Galaxy S3 Rival : HTC One X Available On £26 Contracts

The HTC One X, which should start shipping out from tomorrow, is currently on sale on contracts costing as little as £26 per month at T-Mobile via, that's a total cost of ownership of £624.

Three possible combinations are on offer, with varying amount of minutes and inclusive data, and unlimited texts. Customers can choose between 600 minutes and 250MB data, 300 minutes and 750MB data or 100 minutes and 1.5GB data.

In all cases, T-Mobile will not charge users for web browsing and checking emails once the data allowance is reached. HTC is also offering 25GB cloud storage for two years from Dropbox worth around £100 by itself for free.

As for the phone itself, it comes with an Nvidia Tegra 3 chip with four cores clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage (no microSD card slot, an eight megapixel camera with 1080p video recording and HTC's ImageSense, Beats Audio technology, a 1800mAh battery, a 4.3-inch 1,280 by 720 pixels display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0.

The HTC One X is quietly turning out to be one of the biggest potential challenger to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5 as it is affordable for what is essentially a top of the range handset.
