The popularity of Apple's devices is increasing and after iPhones and iPads, now it's time for Macs to take their place in the offices.
According to a recent report, 46 per cent of the enterprises across the USA switched from PCs to Macs, an increase by 50 per cent compared to the studies from two years ago.
Frank Gillett, vice president and principal analyst at Forrester pointed out that "the use of iPads and iPhones in the workplace is creating increased awareness and consideration of Macs."
The Forester report that published the figures earlier this year is based on surveys done in the enterprise environment among corporations with more than 1,000 employees.
Moreover, to capture the Mac spreading phenomenon, Forrester analysts interviewed over 10,000 information workers from 17 countries about the smart devices they use to get the work done.
The latest evolution with Macs targeting the enterprise sector relies on MacBook Air, which is not as cost-prohibitive as early Mac models. However, for the decision makers in the companies, the steep prices for Apple devices still represent an issue.
