An intriguing picture has surfaced the web, claiming a release date for Samsung's future flagship: the Galaxy S III. The image hints towards an event that will take place in London, UK, on May 22nd, and also towards an unseen design.
The poster was leaked from unknown sources and it's not certain yet if it's true or fabricated, but it hints at a Galaxy S3 launch on May 22nd.
This time, it seems that Samsung could choose London to present its "Fast, Vivid and Slim" smartphone in an open event. The quoted words, alongside a "What's your Smart life?" slogan cover the top part of a computer rendered Galaxy S3 design.
The body of the handset seems to be made out of aluminium, with the bottom part being tapered enough to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio screen. The complete lack of physical buttons, at least for the lower part, indicates that it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Previous leaks claim the flagship phone will have a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen with a 1,280 by 720 pixel resolution, the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Elder Murtazin also reports that Samsung has had preorders of over 10 million units.
