Two slides showing a Nokia concept phone with the Lumia and the Pureview brandings have surfaced on a Chinese website, it168.com.
The current Pureview 808 handset - which is based on Symbian - has yet to go on sale, having been launched at the Mobile World Congress back in February.
It has a massive camera sensor, the biggest we've seen on a smartphone yet, with a staggering 41 megapixel camera, more than three times that of the next highest pixel count on a phone.
The concept phone showcased came with a shape that reminded us of a surf board complete with black, pink and yellow colour scheme.
It is said to have a 4.3-inch 1,280 by 720 pixels capacitive touchscreen, that famed 41 megapixel sensor with a Carl Zeiss lens and Pureview imaging technology, a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 dual core processor with an Adreno 320 GPU, 1080p video recording and Windows Phone 8.
Nokia has already released four handsets that run on Windows Phone 7.5 with the cheapest being the Lumia 710 - which retails for £130 at Carphone Warehouse.
