Apple might be the king of innovation with its sleek devices and the most wealthy tech company, but Google is still the most loved tech brand in the US.
At least, this is the conclusion of a recent poll sponsored by ABC News and The Washington Post. The survey was conducted between March 28 and April 1 on a random national sample of 1,007 Americans.
When asked how they feel about Google, 82 per cent of the polled people declared they have a favourable opinion and 9 per cent admitted their dislike for the brand.
Surprisingly, 10 per cent of the Americans asked to take part in the survey declared they had never heard of Google. Apple is in second place in this hierarchy with almost three quarters of people expressing favourable opinions about the brand. However its number of dislikes was slightly larger, as 13 per cent of the polled Americans revealed.
Facebook took the third place with 58 per cent. The majority of Apple and Google fans come from households with income of at least $100,000.
Among young people under 30, Google is more popular than Apple with 92 per cent favourability versus 81 per cent.
