HTC One S Goes On Preorder For £415

The HTC One S is now available from Expansys for as little as £415 from online retailer Expansys with a free Krusell screen protector.

The handset, which was released at MWC in February, is slotted just below HTC's flagship, the One X which costs around £70 more and above the HTC One V.

The One S's configuration is superior to that of the cheaper Sensation XE. There's a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage with 25GB additional cloud storage from Dropbox for two years but no microSD card slot.

The screen is a 4.3-inch 960 by 540 pixels type similar to the previous generation. Other features include a 1650mAh battery, Beats Audio technology, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wireless HDMI & DLNA compatibility, an eight megapixel camera with F/2.0 lens, flash, BSI sensor and Full HD video recording.

As expected, it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC's own Sense UI. The Sensation XE however comes with a pair of customised Beats Audio headphones but less onboard storage and a system memory.
