Samsung Galaxy S3 To be Official Device Of 2012 London Olympics?

With only 100 days to the London Olympics, one rumour claims that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be the official device of the 2012 London Olympics which is one reason why Samsung will launch the device in the UK on the 3rd of May,

BGR claims that Samsung has engineered a "huge international roll-out for the Galaxy S3" with simultaneous launch events in New York, Seoul and Dubai.

The site also says that the device will be available in blue/black and in white with other features including a 16GB/32GB model (but no 64GB), a full HD display, integrated 4G LTE and a quad core Exynos processor.

Other rumours that had emerged include a metal/plastic/ceramic casing, a physical home button, wireless charging/NFC capabilities and a 4.65-inch 1,280 by 720 pixels display.

Expect the phone to be unveiled at the same time as a number of other Samsung devices including two tablets called the Espresso 10 and the Espresso 7.

It will be interesting to see how high the Galaxy S3 is priced. The S2 currently retails for around £380 but the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Note can both be had for around £400, as is the quad core HTC One X.
