Is The Galaxy S3 Smartphone Coming In Five Minutes?

Samsung has put up a teaser website at (opens in new tab) which is a nicely thought, albeit intelligible, anagram for thenextgalaxy. The site URL was hinted by Samsung Mobile yesterday afternoon in a tweet that read "destination : tgeltaayehxnx) and the site itself has a counter which counts down to midday (London time).

There's an equally cryptic message saying "you can take the next step in". The HTML source adds "Discover how Samsung is about to challenge the way you view the GALAXY once more." and "A Whole New Universe" as title tag.

We suspect that it will be the place holder for the Next Galaxy or the Galaxy S3 or the Galaxy S III whatever it is called. Given that Samsung Mobile has already confirmed that it will stream next week's event live on its Facebook page, it does make sense for them to have it on a separate dedicated website.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to have a 4.65-inch 1,280 by 720 pixels Super AMOLED Plus display, a new S-cloud cloud feature, a quad core Samsung Exynos 4412 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, eye tracking technology, an eight megapixel camera and a flat back. There is even a video that emerged last week showing the S3 in all its glory.
