Nokia Lumia 710 Smartphone Down To £124.90

The Nokia Lumia 710 now costs less than half its original selling price at £124.90 at, a subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse. The price excludes a £10 compulsory top up at Vodafone but the handset, we've been told, comes unlocked and without any Vodafone application or branding.

The smartphone is powered by a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255T clocked at 1.4GHz, the same as the more expensive Lumia 800. Like the latter, it has a 3.7-inch 800 by 480 pixels ClearBlack display plus 512MB RAM.

Other features include a five megapixel camera, Windows Phone 7.5, Wi-Fi, GPS, HD video recording and 16GB onboard storage. What sets it apart from the rest of the Windows Phone competition though is free music (Nokia Music) and sat-nav (Nokia Maps) applications as well as changeable face plates.

You also get 25GB free space via Skydrive as well as other Microsoft goodies including Microsoft Office, Bing, Zune and Internet Explorer. With up to six hours battery life when playing videos and around eight hours of 3G talktime, the Lumia 710 will almost certainly need to be recharged every night.
