Sydney's Apple store has had an impromptu visit from a busload of protestors, dressed in black, chanting - "Wake Up" - through megaphones, while waving placards.
Shoppers in the Australian city of Sydney were treated to a fine display of organised protesting, captured all on video (opens in new tab) by a native blogger - who just happened to be there. The video has gathered over 100,000 hits on YouTube.
It turns out that Samsung was behind it, after marketing blog Mumbrella follow the trail back to creative agency Tongue, who is in charge of the Samsung campaign.
Tongue has also created a "Wake Up" website (opens in new tab), which contains a countdown to a launch. Reports are suggesting that the website is counting down to the release of the new Samsung Galaxy S3, in Australia.
According to Mumbrella, the campaign has been taking over the city with "the words written on the bottom of Bondi Ice Bergs pool, as well as on a series of billboards placed around town. There was also a site takeover on news.com.au over the Anzac day holiday."
The launch of the new Samsung Galaxy phone is the 3rd May and ITProPortal will be there.
We will be running a live blog of the event to keep you posted of all the announcements.
