Samsung Galaxy S3 To Use Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 In US?

Samsung has already confirmed that the forthcoming Galaxy Next or Galaxy S3 will come with a quad core Exynos 4412 processor, clocked at 1.4GHz.

However, an unnamed executive quoted by Korea Times claimed that the S3 will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 in the United States, perhaps due to the fact that 4G LTE is more prevent in North America.

HTC did the same with the One X, which uses a quad core Tegra 3 SoC in international markets and a Snapdragon S4 part in the US.

The Galaxy S3 will be launched this Thursday at an official Samsung Galaxy UNPACKED mobile event in London, where the phone is likely to be hailed as the official smartphone of the London Olympic Game - and where we expect to see other products, including the follow up to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The phone is expected to come with a screen size between 4.5in and 5in with a 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution, NFC and wireless charging capabilities
