Apple has announced that the company will be extending its offer for MobileMe customers, enticing them with free additional iCloud storage space. The company has also offered users a free MobileMe subscription, available until the last day of the service, 30 June 2012.
MobileMe users will be able to find that many of the services they are accustomed to are available in iCloud, such as mail, contacts, calendars, and bookmarks.
However, they'll probably miss iWeb publishing, gallery and iDisk which are not in the iCloud yet. There are also new services to discover, like iTunes and Documents in the Cloud, photo stream, automatic downloads and purchase history for apps and books.
Also, a new service for MobileMe customers will allow them to back up and restore their documents and apps. Apple users needing additional storage space for their iOS or Mac OX devices will have to pay £28/year for 20GB and £70/year for 50GB. Apple only offers free 5GB of storage in the Cloud.
