Several days ago we reported that Apple had managed to sort out some of its supply constraints for the new iPad, resulting in customers in Canada and the US waiting a much shorter period for the delivery of their third generation iPad.
The good news has since expanded to Europe, at least to some degree - with the maximum delivery time cut in half.
Apple fans who order the third generation iPad online only have to wait a week to receive the device. The effect of such delivery improvements is highly noticeable in the UK, France, Germany and many other European markets.
European customers waiting up to seven working days are still far behind buyers from the US and Canada. When Apple states seven business days, this means the actual shipment might be delayed to a period of up to 10 days, as weekends are not included.
For people in a hurry to get the new iPad, the best solution might be to just visit the nearest Apple store to get the device. In North America, Apple fans who order the latest iPad onlineonly need to wait three to five business days for the device to arrive on their doorstep.
