You'd be hard press to get a better deal for what is the Galaxy S3's biggest threat yet, the HTC One X. That smartphone can be grabbed on T-Mobile via E2Save mobiles for £21 per month.
That's only £504 over the duration of the contract (which lasts two years) for a phone that costs around £450 on SIM Free. Three tariffs are available at that price. Text Basic (which gives 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB data), Extra Internet (with 50 mins, 250 texts and 1.5GB data) and Text Standard (with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB data).
As for the phone itself, it shares a number of features with the Galaxy S3. Both have a quad core processor (in the One X's case, an Nvidia Tegra 3), 1GB RAM, an eight megapixel rear camera, a 1,280 x 720 pixels display and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It surpasses the S3 when it comes to onboard storage (32GB vs 16GB) and offers a number of other useful features like Beats Audio technology, HTC ImageSense plus a two year subscription to Dropbox with 25GB thrown in.
The cheapest Galaxy S3 we've tracked costs just under £500 SIM Free and £25.25 on contract
