It seems that AT&T sales figures are steadily rising because of the Nokia Lumia 900, claims Nokia's US president in a recent interview. Moreover, the company has a hard time manufacturing the device at a higher rate than it is selling them, at least in the past two weeks.
Chris Weber, Nokia's president for the United States, has noted that the Lumia 900 sales are taking over AT&T and the demand is overwhelming existing stock supplies.
Moreover, the company has a hard time manufacturing the smartphone at the demanded speed, and in the past two weeks, Nokia has been taken by surprise: "Demand has been outstripping supply for the first couple of weeks, and we've been working hard to rectify that", said Weber.
Nokia's US president also stated that the Cyan version of the Lumia 900 is really popular, mostly because the colour cannot be found in any other smartphone built by its competitors. The bad side to a crowd-pleasing version is that Nokia takes extra time to build a mobile, a case that we have seen with the iPhone 4, a while ago.
Weber has been personally conducting investigations on how AT&T customers are being treated in the past four weekends, and reports that: "Generally, we're seeing very good support. It's a work in progress."
