O2 is aiming to make summer 2012 the 'first ever social media connected summer holidays, with O2 Travel.
Announced today, O2 Travel will be available from July, to all O2 customers on a pay monthly contract - offering 25MB of data per day, for only £1.99.
When customers make voice calls from abroad, they will be charged a one-off payment of 50p for each call, and then the minutes used will be taken from their monthly allowance.
Worrying about the phone bill after a holiday abroad is often a concern for many holiday makers, but O2 Travel is the next step from to relieve this worry.

"With simple charges and a generous 25MB data bundle, O2 Travel provides a great way for our customers to keep in touch and share their holiday moments with family and friends without having to worry about the costs."
The demand for cheaper internet use whilst abroad on mobile phones is growing fast. Mobile internet usage on holiday is growing at more than 100 per cent a year, with Facebook, Google and BBC News the most popular sites to keep up to date with whilst on holiday.
