Asus has released its official demo video for the PadFone.
It's is a smartphone that can slot into a 10in screen and become a tablet. The device was first shown at Mobile World Congress 2012.
The video outlines the benefits of having a phone and tablet under one data plan, as well as all the technical specifications of the PadFone.
The device runs Android, 'Ice Cream Sandwich', 4.0, and the 'Fone' element has a 4.3in Super AMOLED display. It also boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5 GHz processor and an 8 megapixel camera with 5-element f/2.2 lens.
The 'Pad' stylus, which has its own pocket in the smart cover, also doubles up as a headset, meaning you can make and recieve calls whilst the smartphone is docked in the tablet.
The PadFone also has an impressive battery life, 16 hours for the smartphone, 63 hours when plugged into the PadFone Station, and then a whopping 102 hours with it docked into the Station Dock Keyboard.
Asus is yet to announce a release date or a price. The demo video claims that, as you only need one SIM-card, you will actually be saving money by only having one data plan.
