Dual Core Samsung Galaxy S3 With 2GB Of RAM Appears Online

NTT DoCoMo has announced its summer line-up of smartphones (opens in new tab), headed up by the latest flagship handset in the Android range: the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Japanese carrier has decided to strengthen its smartphone offering, with 19 more models.

The Japanese version of the Galaxy S3 is said to be powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor (MSM8960). The device also has 2GB of RAM, which makes it one of the most powerful devices in its class.

These revamped internals have affected the smartphone's appearance. The Japanese users will get a Galaxy S3 slightly thicker, than other models, at 9mm instead of 8.6mm. Granted, this is only a matter of statistics, as the user won't pay that much attention to the 0.4 mm difference.

NTTDoCOMo subscribers will get the same specifications for their Galaxy S3, as the rest of the global market. They will be able to enjoy the 4.8in HD AMOLED display, the eight-megapixel camera and the same colour options, Pebble blue and Marble white. The smartphone will feature the same 2100mAh battery, which got a thumbs up from potential owners.
