Microsoft is working hard to launch its Office suite versions for both Apple's iOS and Google's Android tablets this year, with the latest sources claiming it should arrive sometime in November.
This rumour only adds weight to reports made earlier this year that showed Microsoft's Office running on an iPad. This happened in February, and although Microsoft has denied all claims and touted that it was "bad info", BGR's source states that the images they received display the same information.
Hints to this release have been occuring more frequently, clearly indicating that Microsoft is not only preparing for the future launch of Windows 8, but also iOS and Android compatible versions of the Office suite.
Earlier this year, Microsoft released a Technical Preview of the upcoming Office 15 package, which is mainly a touch-friendly version of the well-known bundle. The beta had been shared with a handful of customers and was kept pretty secret until recently.
It is expected that Office 15 will deliver an enhanced experience to all Windows 8 terminals, but it's left to see if iOS and Android platforms will receive the same benefits as well.
