Son of Orange San Francisco Available For £87.90

Until midnight tonight, daily deal website iBood is selling the ZTE Libra - otherwise known as the XT880 - for £87.90 including delivery. The phone is a minor upgrade to the popular ZTE Blade otherwise known as the Orange San Francisco, which sold a few million units worldwide.

Like the San Francisco, it comes with a Qualcomm MSM7227-1 processor clocked at 600MHz. There's 512MB RAM, a 3.5in 800 x 480 pixels TFT capacitive display, Android 2.2 Froyo, a microSD card slot (with a 2GB model included and 512MB ROM onboard), a five megapixel camera, a microUSB port, a 1250mAh battery, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and two year warranty.

Note that the phone is SIM unlocked and unbranded. Also there's no front facing camera and there appear to be different versions of the phone (including one which was launched with Android 2.3 Gingerbread). The phone has already been discontinued by ZTE, replaced by the slightly more expensive and better spec'ced Orange San Francisco II.

It is worth noting that because of the similarity of both the Libra and the Blade, ROMs and ROM customisation that will run on one will likely run on the other as well.
