The white version of the Motorola Razr from Expansys for only £300 which is a cracking price and a 10 per cent discount off the usual selling price of the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The smartphone has a number of features that set it apart from the rest of the competition. It is made from a machined stainless steel core with a woven Kevlar fibre back and a layer Corning Gorilla Glass covering the screen.
This explains why it is only 7.1mm thick and weighs 127g. On top of that, it has a splash-proof hydrophobic coating which should save the day if ever it gets wet.
Other features include a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (a TI OMAP4430 model), 1GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Ice Cream Sandwich coming soon, a 4.3in 960 x 540 super AMOLED screen, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB, a 1800mAh battery, GPS, an eight megapixel camera with AF and full HD video recording and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera.
Note that a version of the Razr (called the Razr Maxx) with a much bigger battery (3300mAh) and consequently a much better battery life can be had for around £100 extra.
