Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 On Preorder From £200

UK Retailer PC World has put the white version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 on preorder for a mere £200 including free delivery which is a smashing price for the followup to the original Galaxy Tab and less than the preorder price listed by Carphone Warehouse.

The GT-P3110 not only costs less than its predecessor but it is also a significant update. There's a speedy dual core processor clocked at 1GHz (possibly the same that powered the first generation Galaxy Tab 10.1), 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage (with a microSD card slot), a 7in 1024 x 600 pixels capacitive display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

It's worth noting that Samsung will not release a 3G version of this tablet which would have allowed users to make calls over 3G.

The Galaxy Tab 2 keeps the three-megapixel camera and the VGA front camera of MK1 as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and the microUSB port. At 10.5mm thick and weighing only 345g, it is as portable as the first Galaxy Tab.

As expected, Samsung has thrown in a number of applications including ChatON, Readers Hub, Music Hub, Game Hub, Video Hub and Samsung Apps.
