You can purchase the 3G version of the HTC Flyer from Skype for only £349, the cheapest price in the UK for a tablet that was launched back in MWC last year. The price includes free delivery as wel las up to 60 minutes of free Skype credit.
The tablet comes with HTC's Scribe technology which is essentially a digitising stylus that can interact with a capacitive screen and accompanying applications.
It is powered by a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 3.0, a 7in 1,024 x 600 pixels capacitive display, GPS, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear one, a 4000mAh battery, Wi-Fi and a microUSB port.
It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and should be upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when it appears. The Flyer is still a decent portable tablet at 420g and given that there's no announced follow up to the tablet (or the Puccini), it is likely that this will be the last HTC tablet on the market.
