Over at GLBenchmark, a repository of tests results gathered from around the globe and focusing almost exclusively on smartphones and tablets, a particular test result caught the eyes of Engadget.
The entry named a new phone called the LG LE970, one which apparently comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with an Adreno 320 GPU that runs at 1.5GHz and could either be a dual or quad core model (although the former is more likely).
Engadget's Sharif Sakr posits that the phone which comes with an ICS build labelled "geeb_att_us-eng 4.0.4" is likely to be destined for US network operator AT&T.
Opting for Qualcomm makes sense for AT&T since the manufacturer is the only one which can provide with LTE modems for now (until Nvidia pushes out more ICE-based products).
As for the benchmark result on GLBenchmark (carried out on Egypt Standard test), they are unfortunately unreliable and cannot be compared directly to other phones that carry Snapdragon S4 processors like the HTC One S.
