Samsung wireless colour laser printer now available from £80

PC World has put a colour laser printer on sale for less than £80 including free delivery (note that this is a web exclusive price).

The Samsung CLP-325W is not only a networked laser printer, it is also a wireless one which forgoes those pesky network cables. It has a printing resolution of 2,400 x 600 dpi and can print on a variety of paper formats and type.

It prints at up to 16ppm on A4 (mono) and up to 4ppm in colour. As the rest of the industry, it ships with starter toners which provide with 1,000 pages (when printing in black) and 700 pages (when printing in colour).

Other features include Wi-Fi, compatibility with Windows, Mac and Linux and a rather compact body at 39 x 31 x 24 cm (WxDxH) which means that it won't take much space on a table.

Samsung has also dropped in a rather useful print screen button that can instantly print everything on a computer screen at a single touch.

As expected though, the cost of consumables is likely to be high. A 1500 pages cartridge costs £50 or roughly 3p per page to print.
