HTC Rhyme smartphone down to £227.90

iBood is selling the HTC Rhyme for a mere £227.90 until midnight tonight. The phone was launched back in September 2011 and went on sale for a rather steep £399.

It has roughly the same configuration as the HTC Desire (or Desire S) plus includes an 8GB microSD card, a charging station with speakers and a charm amulet.

When it comes to specifications, it is a solid mid-range model with a unibody design with Android 2.3 Gingerbread (and an ICS upgrade coming soon) with HTC Sense UI.

It has a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, a 3.7in 800 x 480 pixels capacitive display, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording and a front facing one, 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, microUSB & microSD card slot, DLNA compatibility, ANT+ to connect with sport and fitness sensors and a GPS.

The battery has a 1600mAh capacity and up to 10 hours talktime. The Rhyme comes with two years warranty and weighs 130g.

The ohone will face some competition from the likes of Nokia Lumia 710 or the Alcatel One Touch Ultra 995 which costs £170.
