Pseudo-Google TV goes on Sale For £55

It is perhaps a credit to the ingenuity of Chinese engineers that we have a Google TV device available for £55.42 with free shipping from China and one that weighs an eye-popping 28g.

The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and apart from a number of converters, plugs and cables doesn't come with any input peripherals (mouse or keyboard) or output (displays). In theory, you should be able to plug any mainstream keyboard and mouse and it should be automatically recognised.

It runs on an AllWinner Cortex-A8-based processor clocked at a whopping 1.5GHz with ARM's Mali graphics subsystem, 512MB DDR3, 4GB onboard storage (with a microSD card slot), a USB 2.0 port, support for 1080p and a wide array of audio and video formats (including Xvid and VC-1) and 802.11n Wi-Fi.

Users can connect a USB hard disk drive or external storage to it as it supports USB OTG and you should be able to access a NAS remotely. Plus the fact that it comes with Ice Cream Sandwich means that you have access to all the apps from Google Play.
