Samsung's compact, budget Galaxy Mini 2 is now available across the UK, the company as announced.
The device, which measures at an adorably small 3.27in and boasts a bright yellow or black plastic backing, runs on Android Gingerbread. The Galaxy Mini 2 is powered by a single-core 800MHz processor and ships with 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 1,300mAh battery and a 3-megapixel camera.
"We've had a good response to the Galaxy Mini since it launched last year, particularly among the 'first smartphone generation'", said Simon Stanford, Samsung's vice president for UK and Ireland telecommunications and networks, in a statement. The Galaxy Mini 2 is designed to "meet the growing demand for more affordable devices for customers on the lookout for their first smartphone", he added.
T-Mobile is currently offering the Android handset for free from £15.50 per month on a two-year contract. The Galaxy Mini 2 will soon be available on Orange, according to reports.
Samsung recently announced that it has sold 50 million Galaxy S and S2 phones since the original device was released in 2010. The company now leads the global smartphone market, ahead of Nokia and Apple.
