UK television seller Cello has introduced a new 39in LCD TV that sits nicely between the 37in models and 40in ones. The C39114DVB is a full HD television set, one of the rare sub-40in models to offer a 2-megapixel resolution.
At £250, it won't break the bank as well and costs £50 less than a comparable 42in television set. The device comes with built-in PVR functionality (allowing the user to pause, rewind and record live TV), VESA mounts, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, a brightness of 350nits and two 6W speakers.
Connectors include three HDMI ports, a USB port, composite video, D-Sub, Audio in/out, SCART, a CI Slot and it does offer DVB-T/Freeview tuner.
Cello quotes the television set has having a maximum power consumption of 160W. Another intriguing feature is the Sky remote which comes as standard and allows you to control Sky Digital, Sky Plus and Sky HD Plys satellite boxes.
Comments on Ebuyer point out that while it is not the best 1080p television on the market, it is possibly the cheapest out there. It does swivel and could do with better standard definition quality.
