Get a Samsung mobile phone for a penny

Carphone Warehouse's subsidiary, E2Save, is selling a feature phone - the Samsung E1080 - for 1p when you purchase a top up of £10 from Orange.

It's not the first time that we've seen a 1p phone. Carphone Warehouse stocked one - the Alcatel OT209 - at the beginning of last year.

The phone is perfect for people who are "accident prone" according to the description text and comes with a sturdy rubberised keypad. Other features include a fake call option (to get you out of those awkward situations), a mobile tracker feature with SOS messaging (which allows you to track your phone and send out emergency messages to pre-designate contacts).

It comes with a 1.43in colour display (128 x 128 pixels), a microUSB port, up to 12 hours talk time and stand by time or around 17 days.

There's a few games, a voice memo feature and other usual gimmicks like vibration and polyphonic ringtones. Note that it costs around £20 at Amazon.
