The new Asus Transformer Pad, the TF300T, is not only an improvement on the old Transformer Pad but also comes with a free keyboard docking station that transforms it into an Ultrabook-size device.
The device has a concentric finished pattern and is available in Royal Blue, Iceberg White and Torch Red. The docking station is a proper QWERTY keyboard that has a USB port and a SD card slot and can extend the battery life of the device to 15 hours.
It is powered by a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.33GHz. There's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GB of RAM, a 32GB onboard storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera (with AF, BSI sensor), a 1.2-megapixel front facing one, a micro HDMI and microSD card reader,
The tablet comes with a number of applications like Asus Launcher, SuperNote, MyCloud, Polaris Office and weighs 635g and is only 10mm thick.
Given that the original Asus Transformer Pad costs £399 on its own, this is a proper bargain and one which is likely to get a lot of heads turning, Now if only it was compatible with Windows RT.
