The Nokia Lumia 610 has had a significant price cut from around £180 to just under £130, at Carphone Warehouse (excluding a compulsory £10 top up).
Like the Lumia 710 and the Lumia 800, the 610 has a 3.7in display with a 800 x 480 pixels display. It comes with a single-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 800MHz, 256MB of RAM, 4GB onboard storage, a five-megapixel camera with LED flash & AF, GPS and a metallic, rounded shape.
Powered by Windows Phone 7.5, and also includes the Nokia Drive turn by turn navigation with Local Scout, Nokia Public Transport application, People Hub, Nokia Mix Radio App, Integrated social networking features plus Microsoft's own set of apps : 7GB Skydrive storage, built-in MIcrosoft Office, Live Tiles, Bing, Zune and more.
The Nokia Lumia 710 is no longer available at £100 and we only managed to track some at around £200. If you are not fussed about the operating system, the Sony Xperia U can be had for around £150 with a much better specifications, including a dual-core processor.
Given that the Lumia 610 will not get Skype and very unlikely to get Windows Phone Apollo, there's little impetus to buy it now.
