10in tablet with capacitive touchscreen available from £90

ITstor is selling the Disgo Tablet 7900 on its eBay outlet for £89.99 including free delivery. The tablet runs on Android 2.2. Froyo, with an update to 2.3 Gingerbread already available.

Its main highlight is the fact that it has a 10.1in 1,024 x 600 pixels capacitive display, almost the same resolution as the original iPad with whom it also shares the amount of on-board memory (256MB), and the fact that they both come with Wi-Fi.

The rest of the configuration reads as follows: an ARM11-based iMAPx210 processor clocked at 1GHz, 2GB on-board storage, a webcam, two 0.5W speakers, a microSD card slot, two mini USB ports, an audio jack and a Mini HDMI port.

Note that it doesn't come with Google Play but you can get access to Apps via GetJar instead. The Tablet 7900 is better suited for users looking for an easy way to watch movies either streamed from Youtube or from an external memory or from a network.

The end of 2012 is likely to see a multitude of tablets being launched with at least one model spotted with a dual core processor, 1GB RAM and ICS for under £150.
