Owning possibly the best phone ever made, Samsung Galaxy S3 users are already in a good position to show off. But adding to their smugness now is the news that they can enjoy free coverage of the Olympic Games in London from their device.
This is because Samsung is offering a one-month subscription to Eurosport Player for every purchase of the flagship phone, which can be activated from the 14th July (two weeks before the Games commence) and ends after the closing ceremony on the 12th August.
The app is available for download from Samsung Apps and Google Play, and will broadcast all the action from Eurosport and Eurosport 2 live. Galaxy S3 users will therefore be able to catch every moment of the Games through their dazzling 4.8in HD SuperAMOLED displays.
The app costs £4.99 a month once the Games has finished, but the one-month offer doesn't extend to Italy for some reason.
The Eurosport deal capitalises on the S3's status as the London Games' official phone, though sporting link-ups are hardly needed to boost profits for Samsung, seeing the Korean manufacturer is now sharing a whopping 90 per cent of profits with rival Apple in the smartphone market.
