Apple MacBook Pro, MacBook Air notebooks cleared as Retina Display MBP takes over

DSGi has cut the price of all MacBook Air and Macbook Pro devices by as much as £500 for the top of the range MBP model.

The pricing of the laptops are as follows : 11in entry level MBA costs £699 (a saving of £150), the 11in mainstream MBA costs £829 (a saving of £170), the 13.3in entry level MBA costs £899 (a saving of £200), the 13.3in mainstream MBA fetches £1049 (a saving of £300), the 13.3in entry level MBP goes for £849 (a saving of £150), the 13.3in mainstream MBP costs £999 (a saving of £300), the 15in entry level MBP now costs £1199 (a saving of £350), the 15in mainstream model costs £1399 (a saving of £450) and finally, the 17" Pro MBP, which has now been retired, costs £1599 (a saving of £500).

You could potentially score a better deal by buying straight from Apple and you can get a refurbished MacBook Air laptop from as little as £639 while the rest of the range is competitively priced with DSGi's prices. We've also noticed that Amazon has also cut the price of Apple MacBook pro to match the price of the high street retailer and is also throwing in a free Wireless Nano mouse to entice some buyers.
