Sony Tablet P device now down to £290

Sony's Tablet P has been a relatively discreet seller, barely blipping on our radar. The dual screen concept tablet, which seemingly borrows its design from portable gaming consoles can now be had from Sony Store outlet from £290.

The SGPT212GB/S.CEK.A is actually the 3G model and comes with a standard Sony one-year warranty. It features a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, two 5.5in capacitive LED displays each with a 1,024 x 480 pixels resolution.

Other features include a microUSB port, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a front facing VGA camera and a rear 5-megapixel model and up to seven hours battery life (with 100 per cent recharging taking a whopping 7.5 hours).

The unit is only 372g and is 14mm thick. It is compatible both with Sony Entertainment Network and Sony's PlayStation Suite. The SRP of the Tablet P stands at £399 which means that the refurbished model carries a 27 per cent discount.
