Android PC goes on sale for £58

Futeko is selling the Bluetimes Coopa smart TV for £58. The device is presented as a media player and comes with Ice Cream Sandwich (v4.03). It is essentially a tablet without a screen.

But even if it is primarily destined to be used as such, it offers enough firepower to be used even as a desktop replacement.

You get a dual core Amlogic 8726-M1 processor clocked at 800MHz and based on the Cortex-A9 architecture, a Mali400 GPU, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage with a SD card slot (adding a 32GB card should cost around £13 at the time of writing).

Other features include Wi-Fi (with a massive antenna) and an ethernet port, a sleek chassis, the ability to be used as a 3G hotspot, HDMI, full Google play store compatibility, three USB ports, coaxial/TOSLINK outputs, composite and component ports, compatibility with a wide range of video formats and even includes a remote control.

There's no keyboard or mouse though but you can use any USB peripherals (including USB storage devices, webcams) out of the box.
