If you don't mind getting a refurbished handset (albeit by the manufacturer), then you can grab the Nokia Lumia 800 handset - unlocked and SIM Free - for as little as £225 including delivery.
The phone, which was launched last year at Nokia World, was the first Windows Phone to be unveiled by the Finnish company.
It has been replaced by the Nokia Lumia 900 as the company's flagship handset at the beginning of the year. We reviewed the Lumia 800 back in November 2011 and found much to love about it.
The Lumia 800 comes with a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 512MB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 3.7in ClearBlack AMOLED capacitive display with an 800 x 480 resolution, an 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a 28mm wide angle lens. Other features include HD video recording, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, A-GPS but no front facing camera or NFC.
Note that the phone runs on Windows Phone 7.5 but won't be upgradable to Windows Phone 8.0. The phone comes with a three month warranty but you can buy up to two years' warranty for additional £80. A one-year warranty costs £54.
